Since being admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa on 18 May 1993, Enver Swartz has dedicated himself to providing exceptional legal representation. With extensive litigation experience in various courts, including Criminal Court, Divorce Court, Magistrate’s Court, and High Court, Enver has consistently demonstrated his commitment to his clients. 

Throughout his career, Enver has been involved in both criminal and civil court matters, passionately advocating for his clients’ rights. His expertise and proficiency have allowed him to appear in person in the High Court since 1997, showcasing his ability to handle complex legal cases.

For an impressive span of 16 years, Enver served as a representative of the Road Accident Fund in the South Gauteng High Court, tackling cases involving merits and quantum-related aspects. His diligent and skillful approach earned him recognition as a formidable legal practitioner in this specialized area.

In November 2013, Enver received a remarkable invitation to act as a Judge in the Gauteng Division of the High Court of South Africa, a position he has since fulfilled numerous times. As an Acting Judge, he presided over a wide array of matters, including opposed and unopposed motion court, civil trial court, civil appeals, criminal appeals, and the divorce court. This experience further solidified his expertise and enhanced his understanding of the judicial system.

Enver’s commitment to professional development is evident through his participation in various judicial training programs. In July 2013, he attended the Judicial Skills Training Programme offered by the Law Society of the Northern Provinces. Additionally, in July 2015, he was nominated and successfully completed the Basic Aspirant Judges Course hosted by the South African Judicial Education Institute (SAJEI). Seeking to further expand his legal knowledge, Enver attended the Advanced Aspirant Judges Training Course in January 2016.

Enver’s exemplary legal career led to his shortlisting and interview by the Judicial Service Commission for a permanent appointment as a Judge of the High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Division in October 2016. Although not appointed to the position, the invaluable knowledge and experience gained during his time as an Acting Judge in various High Courts, including Pretoria, Johannesburg, Polokwane, and Mpumalanga, continue to shape his practice.

In January 2017, Enver made the decision to return on a full-time basis to his practice as an Attorney, recognizing the immense value he brings to his clients through his vast knowledge and experience in his preferred area of specialty.
